Stanley Tucci Surprises 'Starstruck' Bride-to-Be During Her Bachelorette Celebration

Stanley Tucci added a little extra sparkle to a bride-to-be's bachelorette party.

Tanya Dhari had gathered with loved ones, including her sister, at a restaurant in York, England, earlier this week to celebrate her upcoming wedding when she happened to see The Devil Wears Prada 2 star walk by, per the BBC. Dhari, 30, asked a waiter to introduce her to the actor.

She and Tucci, 65, chatted briefly before posing for a photo together. In the snapshot, shared by the outlet, the bride-to-be from Leeds, England, can be seen wearing a festive white veil and white lace ensemble as she stood next to Tucci.

"It was just crazy. I've never met anyone famous before and I think I was just completely lost for words," Dhari said of her encounter with the Hollywood star.

She said she and her sister are "very big fans" of the Oscar nominee — but at first thought he was simply a lookalike when they spotted him in the restaurant.

"We started googling him, and when he came back into the room, we were like, 'Oh, that's definitely him,' " Dhari said.

Recalling her conversation with the Tucci in Italy host, she told the BBC, "He was really nice. He congratulated me on getting married and said I looked lovely and was like, 'Would you like to take a picture?' — so we took a picture together."

Dhari said the moment left her "starstruck," and added that Tucci was "so gentle, so polite, so kind … and very genuine."

Tucci was also recently spotted at another Yorkshire establishment. On May 19, Thirty Nine Coffee Company in Ilkley shared two photos on Instagram of the actor posing with fans inside the cafe.

The post was captioned, "Look who popped in for a Thirty Nine coffee - awesome to meet the amazing @stanleytucci - what an amazing chap and lovely crew - so glad you enjoyed our coffee!"

Tucci lives in London with his wife, British literary agent Felicity Blunt, the sister of his Devil Wears Prada costar Emily Blunt. In an interview with The Gloss, the actor, who was raised in upstate New York and Florence, Italy, said he now considers London "his home."

"Because my children are there and my wife is there," he said. "I go back to America, but I love living in London. The weather doesn’t bother me."

Tucci and Felicity, 45, married in a private ceremony in the summer of 2012, followed by a larger wedding in London that September. They welcomed son Matteo Oliver in January 2015 and daughter Emilia Giovanna in April 2018. The Hunger Games actor also has three kids from his first marriage: daughter Camilla and fraternal twins Nicolo and Isabel.
